The most divisive film in the Nightmare on Elm Street franchise has to be the second film, Freddy’s Revenge. An immediate follow-up to the original, they didn’t bring back much other than Freddy, the house, and some info about Nancy. Some people will argue that this is when Freddy was at his best, dark and malicious. Others will say that he accomplished nothing and was super cheesy. Oh, also this film is the most famous gay horror film out there, and you may not have even picked up on it. This film tried some things to various degrees of success. One thing is for sure, anybody who is a fan of the franchise tends to have a strong opinion of it.
