OK, here we are at one of the bigger twists in horror history. How does one properly tackle this movie? I guess with tons and tons of spoiler comments. So let me handle the broad stuff first. This movie came out in 1983. It is a summer camp slasher type flick, but nobody knows who the killer is. You find out in the end, which is of course the twist. This sets the stage for the sequels. Fortunately for you, this film is available for free on YouTube as is part 2 and 3. Here’s a link.
With that being said, it’s not as good as the sequels, but this is needed for them to be as effective and good as they are. I would give this movie simply a 6. But it is worthwhile to do up the trilogy and maybe the 4th…..maybe.
