Chris and Kent discuss The Mummy franchise from the late ’90s, including The Mummy, The Mummy Returns, The Scorpion King, and The Mummy: Tomb Of the Dragon Emperor. The good films hold up well. Tomb of the Dragon Emperor, well….was it ever good? We have questions. Why was the Scorpion King evil in The Mummy Returns but the hero in the Scorpion King? Why did the special effects and CGI look so good for the most part until we see the Scorpion King at the end of the film? Why was there always a super likable pilot in the 3 Mummy movie? Why didn’t Rachel Weisz return? How come we’re seeing Brendan Frasier 22 years later yet he looks like he’s barely aged and there’s no grey in his hair? We have questions and a lot of times, we don’t have many answers, just a lot of guesses.
